Urban Market Preview

A group of us headed out to the Urban Market last night for the preview held from 4-6 at its new location on Smith Street.  For a fee of $25 dollars we got into the venue with two drink tickets and a free sampling of delicious hors d'oeuvres.  We had planned to make an evening of it but "mom duties" prevailed.  Not to worry, we found some wonderful things and have a few questions about a few of the items purchased.  Give us your feedback.

The French Vanilla had these fabulous hand made bottles.

And this cake plate and cover from Portugal caught my eye and I just had to have it.

Do you like my impulse buy?

Susanne had her eye on this French garden vase but after circling back to take 

another look someone had snapped it up.  You have to be fast girls!

My new BFF, Michelle, purchased these hanging ornamental bird cages.

She may use them in her daughter's room.  Like, like!

This was the purchase of the day!  Fabulous niche will go somewhere in Susanne's new

Memorial home.  Right now I think her new kitten, Chuy, is using it.  Wow, when I

die I want to come back as Chuy!

This settee was a deal at $1300...it was snatched up!

We all loved these stone carved serving pieces.  Susanne purchased a few.

 Does anyone have some creative ideas for their use?

That Susanne!  She has a quick eye and an even quicker check book!  Look what she found.

The top one will go in her mud room/laundry room where she will use it for the mail.  Not

sure what she will use the other for but there are a myriad of possibilities.

Would love to go back today as 2 hours was not enough time.  But again, mom duties prevail as baseball season is gearing up.  See ya at Post Oak ladies!
